Yu-Chih Li is a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests lie primarily in the area of comparative education, education policy, and sociology of education. She is now working on "comparison as translation", an alternative comparative methodology with postcolonial reflection to the field of comparative education. Concomitant with her PhD project “A comparative analysis of the International Baccalaureate and the internationalisation of schooling in Taiwan”, she is also interested in the development of pan-Sinicisation in Taiwanese education policy.
