Professor Gary Rawnsley (University of Lincoln) and Dr Ming-Yeh Rawnsley (SOAS University of London), both long-term EATS members, have been appointed to be in charge of a new short book series, “Anthem Impact in Asian Media, Cinema and Communications” (https://anthempress.com/anthem-impact-in-asian-media-cinema-and-communications).
This series delves into the rapid and extensive transformations witnessed in Asia’s communications landscape. With a focus on the multi-directional flows of information, culture and communications within the contexts of globalisation and regionalisation, this series publishes original, high-quality works, ranging between 20,000 and 30,000 words. The series stands out for its commitment to addressing timely issues and current trends, facilitated by its shorter length. It appeals to scholars, researchers and enthusiasts interested in gaining insights into the dynamic and evolving nature of Asian media, cinema and communications. We welcome submissions of proposals for challenging and original works from emerging and established scholars and practitioners that meet the criteria of our series. We make prompt editorial decisions. Our titles are published in digital and print editions and are subject to peer review by recognized authorities in the field. Should you have any queries or wish to send in a proposal for original research please contact Dr. Ming-Yeh Rawnsley at: mr33@soas.ac.uk
